DEV401 or Salesforce Developer exam


I recently cleared my Salesforce certification(ADM 201 and DEV 401)  so sharing few tips on the exam.
Please make sure you understand the objective of the exam outlined in the STUDY GUIDE of respective exam. You can do that by visiting:


For DEV401 I have used SUMMER12 and cleared the exam in September12.

I am sharing the online resources that helped me the most for my DEV401. 
For me the Force.com Fundamentals was the life saver. It helped me to understand all the objectives of the study guide. I made the Recruiting application and that prepared me for my exam all the way.

    Yes most of them were and Dev exam is not that hard. If you have prepared The fundamentals then you will be clear the exam

    Thanks for the blog helped me to clear Dev 401....Really (Yes most of them were and Dev exam is not that hard. If you have prepared The fundamentals then you will be clear the exam) the above lines said by pooja are absolutely true and that gave me the confidence to clear Dev 401...       Hi Ayodele Doherty, it was last month...Be good at fundamentals like workbook, recruiting app etc., and go through the links which pooja has provided and also other blogs and finally practice mock tests even though if you fail mock test in first attempt no problem rectify the wrong one's....
